Step 1.
The freeze dryer (lyophilizer)
is carefully decommissioned at it's plant location by trained
lyophilization technicians and transported by our truck
to the American Lyophilizer, Inc facility in Bridgeport,
PA. Prior to disassembly, the freeze dryer is tested for
vacuum and structural integrity to determine if the freeze
dryer selected is a suitable candidate for the remanufacturing
process.
Step 2.
Engineering of systems and components for the freeze
dryer, based on client product needs and specifications.
A wide variety of components and instrumentation is available,
with each freeze dryer "custom fabricated" with
those items which will insure the fastest freeze drying
cycles with the greatest safety and reliability. During
this time, optimal freeze drying times and residual moisture
storage requirements for the product are generated on our
pilot freeze dryer.
Step 3.
The Freeze Dryer (lyophilizer) is then fitted with
new or remanufactured components, and the entire unit is
restored to original factory performance or client performance
specifications.
